• Jay tell Nick the "truth" about himself and Nick thinks he's  lying 
• Jay tells Nick that Jordan Baker will tell him more and wants to ask him for  a favor 
• Nick goes to lunch with Jordan and she reveals that Jay met Daisy when he was a young soldier and he fell in love with her and he went off to war and hoped to die but didn't, and Daisy married Tom and had a daughter
• Jay wants Nick to invite Daisy to tea and they he'll drop by and they'll meet again for the first time in five years.
